While taking photos of geese in the park, a mother goose got very protective of her baby’s so she decided to “SEND IN THE CLONES!”

OK that’s kind of boring on its own. I took 4 photos that day of these guys, so lets try to make this troop even bigger!

Synced all the photos in Lightroom, then imported them into Photoshop as layers…

Aligned one shot at the end of an enlarged canvas…

Added another photo, and masked out the line between them…

Added the third photo, but realized it looked to similar to the first, so I flipped the photo horizontally first, then masked out the line between…

Then added the last photo on the end, lining up the “in focus” areas, then masking out any weirdness between the two.

Then fixed any missing spots with the content aware fill, and clone and healing brushes.

 

Final Thoughts

 

I think that this photo is cool. You are never going to see this many baby geese without their parents without some help… From Photoshop.

 

 

When I hear “SEND IN THE CLONES!” I always think of this lady from Austin Powers…
