Here we get a shot of a “Portable Wave” as I try out my new photography table.

I got a really good splash here, but I didn’t get the full glass in the shot… Time for some Photoshop surgery!

This shot has the left side of the glass that I need to fill out the glass, and its about the same color…

And of course I need a bottom for the glass, this should suffice.

  • Raised contrast, highlights, shadows and whites
  • Lowered exposure, and blacks
  • Raised clarity, vibrance and saturation

Synced all the photos in Lightroom then opened them up as layers in Photoshop…

Photoshopped

I first made a canvas big enough for the glass, and started with the splash…

I then added in the left side of the glass…

Then the bottom of it,

I used the spot healing brush to fix any specks and other problems.

Then I fixed the levels a bit…2016-12-05-22-37-35-ps10

Then finally I added a subtle vignette.

Final Thoughts

This was a fun exercise as I have gotten bored with my sliding table photos, and wanted to try some photos of a glass getting thrown through the air.

Turns out this is even more messy then the table.
