Today we float by a “Freak Rock Formation” before we plummet to our deaths, screaming and calling out for our mothers…

Photoshopped

Removed the tourists and leveled the photo…

I didnt think there was enough clouds, so I stole some from this shot…

And masked it into the target photo.

Then I tried a photo where I mirrored the “flowerpot” and rotated them a bit…

That didn’t seem interesting enough,

So I tried a 90 degree angle…

To fill the photo I cloned in more clouds to the original photo…

Then I added more water to it.

I thought it didn’t look very good like that, so I used a graduated filter to add some shadow to the “Waterfall.”

Final Thoughts

I thought I was done there, but after I lived with this shot for a while I thought it might be better if I ditch the rocks that are defying gravity all together.

After cloning out the second rock formation and cloning the clouds a bit to make the photo look less symmetrical, I realized that made much more sense, or as much sense as this weird photo could make.
